We're counting down to the last day of term. 28 balloons for 28 members of Room 17 and 28 days to go (as of Friday!) I wonder what fun activity is in each of those balloons?
What a neat idea! My dad, who taught Year 6 in the United States, used to do something similar with his class. Instead of balloons they used knots in a rope to represent how many days left to the school year. Each day a student would snip off a knot in the rope making the rope shorter. They buried the last bit of rope in their time capsule on the final day of school with some memories of the year. The next year's class had to find the time capsule. I can't wait to hear about the fun activities hidden in each of your ballons! Ms Craig
