Adverb Poems

Over the last week we have been learning about adverbs. We were given a mission through the Night Zookeeper to write an adverb poem about the animals in our night zoo. A few students read them out to the class and Yuna and Cohen's were voted the class favourites. Here are their poems.

A beautiful pony galloped
peacefully
Yellow Banana the Minion ate
messily
The blue penguin skittered
loudly
Beautiful Twilight the Butterfly flew
gracefully
A tough monster attacked
roughly
The pink ice block melted
slowly
The annoying dog barked
naughtily
The pretty unicorn partied
royally
Mrs Burnett taught
happily
Wonderful Tauriel sang
quietly
An awesome leopard raced
quickly

By Yuna

Spotty Narwhal swam
loudly
Spiky Sonic ran
speedily
Big monkey climbed
angrily
Black crusher bowled
furiously
Tough dragon fired
powerfully
Spotty horse ran
away
Stripy rhinoceros ran
loudly
Spiky croc snapped
noisily
Little mouse skittered
quietly
Lazy cheetah purred
softly
Orange fox crept
speedily

By Cohen
